CACIULA HISTORY

MAIN_caciula_HISTORY

Since ancient times, the ancestors of Caciula (kechula) lived on these lands. They went away and returned, assimilated with neighboring tribes, but they always remembered their origin from Japheth.
They were full of pride for their noble family, whose origin comes from the great man of that time – Noah!

According to Herodotus, the Geto Dacians (caciulenii, populus cu caciula) were the bravest and honest among the Thracians.
Besides Geto Dacians tribes, Caciula had also genetic influence from following tribes:
in IV-I centuries BC – Bastrany, Gauls and Scythians;
in III-V cent – Goths, Sarmatians and Wends;
in V-XI cc – Slavs;
in the XI-XIII cent – Nomadic Pechenegs, Polovtsy (Cumans);
in XIII – XIV centuries – The Golden Horde, the Mongol-Tatars;
in the 40s of the XIII century – Wolski.

Formation of Caciula’s character  was gradually year by year, from century to century, but the foundation was laid by its ancestors:
“good in soul, tenderhearted, faithful, hospitable, respecting their ancestry and loving the Earth”.
